FAQ Placement
The FAQ section should be placed at the very end of the review article.
Number of FAQs
An average review article should have around 10 FAQs. However, the number can be lower or higher depending on the topic. Ideally, keep it between 5 and 12 FAQs.
Question Word Number
Keep FAQ questions as short as possible. Ideally, each question should be within 8-12 words. Avoid questions that are unnecessarily long, especially those exceeding 15 to 20 words.
Answer Word Number
Answers should ideally be between 20 and 30 words. Shorter answers are acceptable, but it is better to avoid answers that are longer than 30 words.
FAQ Type
FAQs in product review articles must always be informative.
Sometimes, AI generates FAQs where the answer could simply recommend a specific model or product. These types of FAQs should be avoided.
For example:
Incorrect FAQ: Which Canon digital camera is best for taking photos at night?
Correct FAQ: Which digital camera features should you prioritize for night photography?
The first question is incorrect because it directly asks for a specific product recommendation. The second question is better because it provides useful, informative content related to the topic.
FAQ Sources
You can leave the FAQ research to AI. However, manually researching FAQs through Google, Semrush, and Ahrefs can produce better results, although this approach requires considerably more time.
You can also create FAQs manually by following specific patterns related to the product. For example, every product requires some level of care and maintenance. Based on that, you can create an informative FAQ such as:
How should you care for and maintain a digital camera?
Recommended FAQs
I usually structure the first FAQ similar to a buying guide question.
For example:
Question: What should you consider before buying a digital camera?
Answer: Consider image quality, sensor size, lens options, autofocus, low light performance, video capabilities, battery life, portability, durability, connectivity, and your budget before choosing a digital camera.
The second question is typically something like:
Question: What Is the best digital camera?
Answer: The KODAK PIXPRO FZ55 is a practical choice for everyday photography, offering a 16MP sensor, 5X optical zoom, Full HD video, wide angle lens, 7-Inch LCD, Li-Ion battery and compact design.
Note: These two questions are universal, meaning they can be used for all keywords. Only the format of the first question will change, while the information and intent will remain the same. The keyword in the second question will be changed accordingly.
