Word Limit for Single Product Review

In my personal opinion, a product review should ideally be within 300 words. However, many writers choose to write longer reviews, while others prefer shorter ones depending on the product and the depth of information available.

Additionally, if the products in your niche are priced below $20 or do not have many features to discuss, it is better to keep the review within 200 to 250 words. This length is usually enough to cover the important details while keeping the content clear and engaging for readers.

For example

Corers: A simple product with very few features and a straightforward design. Since it is easy to use and has minimal components, a 200-word review is more than enough.

Micro SD Cards: Although many models cost more than $20, a 250-word review is more than enough because it is a compact product with a limited number of features to evaluate.

Generate Product Review Article Outline

Step-1: Basic Outline

Suggest a clean, concise review outline for the product keyword: “Niche/Product/Keyword“. Include only 5 to 7 major review sections. Exclude the introduction, conclusion, FAQs, and pros & cons. The headings (Each Heading 2-4 words) should follow a logical order, cover the most important buying factors, and be suitable for an SEO-friendly affiliate product review.

Example of Niche/Product/Keyword: Digital camera, smartphone, Laptop Computer, Wood Table, Smart Watch, Grinder

Step-2: Modify the AI Outline

Match the points with the Amazon product features and check whether any important details can be found from there or if the points generated by AI need to be modified or improved based on the actual product information.

Lens Performance
Autofocus System
Video Recording
Handling & Design
Battery Life

Feature Point Length

The standard length for the feature points you write about is 2 to 4 words. In some cases, they can be 5 to 6 words. However, making the bullet points longer than this is not ideal and can negatively affect the quality and readability of a review article.

Example:

Correct OutlineIncorrect Outline
Image Quality
Lens Performance
Autofocus System
Video Recording
Handling & Design
Battery Life
Connectivity & Features
Image Quality and Overall Photo Detail
Lens Performance and Optical Clarity
Autofocus System and Tracking Accuracy
Video Recording Quality and Capabilities
Handling, Ergonomics, and Camera Design
Battery Life and Shooting Endurance
Connectivity Options and Smart Features

Step-3: Complete the Outline

After that, add the intro and pros and cons section to complete the basic review outline.

Key Aspects of Feature Points

I’m writing a review of a “Digital Camera“, specifically focusing on its “Build Quality“. Please suggest 5 to 10 key aspects I should evaluate and discuss in this section.

Note: If the description is short, around 30 to 50 words, focus on 4 to 6 key aspects only.

I’m writing a review of a “Digital Camera“, specifically focusing on its “Battery Life“. Please suggest 4 to 6 key aspects I should evaluate and discuss in this section.

Examples of Key Aspects of the Feature

Feature: Build Quality
Key Aspects: Body Material, Construction & Fit, Weather Sealing, Button & Dial Quality, Grip & Ergonomics, Port & Compartment Design, Overall Durability & Finish

Now, we need to prepare questions to gather information from Amazon about the key aspects of its features.

  • Body Material, Construction & Fit, Weather Sealing, Button & Dial Quality – Provide information about the features and what the customer experience is like.
  • Grip & Ergonomics, Port & Compartment Design, Overall Durability & Finish – Provide information about the features and what the customer experience is like.
Gather Product Information from Amazon

Why create two questions instead of just one? Build quality is an important feature with multiple key aspects that require detailed information to describe effectively in a review. If I try to gather all the relevant information about these key aspects directly from Amazon using a single question, I will likely receive less comprehensive results. Therefore, I have created two questions to collect more detailed information and gain a deeper understanding of the product’s build quality.

Feature: Stabilization
Key Aspects: Stabilization Type, Handheld Photo Performance, Performance at Different Zoom Levels, Low-Light Stability.

Stabilization Type, Handheld Photo Performance, Performance at Different Zoom Levels, Low-Light Stability – Provide information about the features and what the customer experience is like.

Although stability is an important feature, there is usually less to discuss about it in a review. Therefore, a single question should be sufficient to gather all the relevant information.

Very Important Note

Note-1: Price

Never mention the exact product price anywhere in the review or money article. However, you can describe the price range using terms like “under $50” or “under $100.” You can also mention whether the product is budget-friendly, affordable, inexpensive, or a good value for the money.

Note-2: Customer Reviews or Quotes (AI Mistakes)

Sometimes, AI writes three out of five points correctly from a first-person perspective, but the remaining two points are written as customer reviews or quotes instead of reflecting personal experience. Make sure to read the entire article carefully before publishing it.

For example:

Incorrect review: A customer said the camera’s flashlight seemed relatively dim.

How it should be written: Compared with the other cameras on this list, I found this camera’s flashlight to be somewhat less bright.

Solution: This issue can occur at any time, and it often resolves on its own. However, if the problem does not correct itself, the prompt should place stronger emphasis on writing from a first-person perspective. If that still does not work, consider switching to a different account where the issue does not occur.
